Oleg Artemkov from Gomel noted that it was a special honor for him to become part of the project. According to Oleg Artemkov Oleg, his great-grandfather Anton Krivitsky was a soldier of the Red Army, was awarded medals For Courage and For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. “Our family cherishes the memory of him. I try to find more information about my great-grandfather because a lot of information about him was lost. I'm trying to piece it all together. For me, knowing the history of the Great Patriotic War is an important thing. Nations who do not know their history have no future. The Train of Memory brought us together to carry on this history. Together we carry it to future generations. Together we are a force,” Oleg Artemkov believes.
