International observers from over 40 countries have been accredited to monitor the presidential election in Belarus, CEC Secretary Yelena Baldovskaya told reporters, BelTA learned.

"Accreditation of international observers continues: a little over 400 people have already been accredited. The Central Election Commission continues to receive applications and forms from the relevant structures and, accordingly, continues to issue accreditation certificates," he said. "As of today, we have observers from more than 40 countries."

The presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
