According to the deputy akim, Belarus and Kazakhstan enjoy friendly relations built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to joint progress. “I am confident that today’s meeting will open new opportunities for expanding trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation between our regions,” he said.

Ruslan Kenzhebekov noted that Karaganda Oblast has substantial industrial, investment, and human potential. “We are keen to develop partnerships with Gomel Oblast in industry, agriculture, education, science, and innovation,” he stated.

“Over the course of the forum sessions yesterday and today, we have seen how Gomel Oblast’s industries are evolving and have taken note of the proposals on the table. I plan to examine these matters in detail with my colleagues, particularly in the agricultural sector. The opportunity to exchange experience is of great interest to us,” Ruslan Kenzhebekov concluded.

The 20th edition of the Gomel Economic Forum brought together representatives from 16 countries. Over the years, the forum has become a recognized and authoritative platform for discussing pressing issues of international trade, economic and investment cooperation, and for establishing reliable long-term interregional ties and partnerships.
