Belarusian steel works BMZ eager to make more metalware

Deputy Director General for Metalware Production at the Belarusian steel works BMZ Igor Chernyavsky met with workers employed by a division of the company and talked about prospects of metalware production and efforts to provide customers with quality products, BelTA has learned.
According to Igor Chernyavsky, the year 2023 has not been simple for the development of metalware production. Nevertheless, the company hit virtually all the performance targets. The growth rate of the output in physical terms totaled 113.5%. Active preparations for January are in progress on New Year's Eve. Production targets set for January 2024 are higher than those of December 2023. Metalware divisions will have to work particularly hard, the executive said.
Igor Chernyavsky stressed that contracts for the year 2024 had been reconciled with virtually all partners in Russia, with BMZ shipment targets up by 10-15%. The company intends to advance and deepen this cooperation in the future.
The public joint-stock company (OAO) BMZ, the management company of the holding company Belarusian Metallurgical Company (BMC), is a high-tech Belarusian metallurgical enterprise. It comprises infrastructure shops and four manufacturing divisions connected by one technological chain. The divisions focus on steel smelting, mill products, pipe products, hardware items.
